LONG BEACH, Calif. — A daily community yoga practice is drawing residents to the coastline as Yogalution on the Bluff continues its long-running tradition of outdoor, donation-based sessions.
Every morning at 11 a.m., participants gather at the Bixby Park Annex to take part in an open-air class led by rotating instructors who emphasize accessibility, mindfulness and connection.
Organizers say the format allows anyone to join, regardless of experience level, and offers a way for the community to come together in a peaceful setting overlooking the ocean.
Participants describe the practice as a grounding ritual that brings people together across ages and experience levels, creating a rare sense of calm in the middle of the city and allowing them to have a pause in their rushed lives.
Along with the daily beachfront sessions, Yogalution also operates a donation-based indoor studio close to the Bluff, offering residents an additional place to practice, learn and stay connected year-round
